Rebuilding trust, one conversation at a time

Why It Matters
A District That Decides the Future
In 2024, Colorado’s 8th Congressional District was decided by just 2,500 votes, the second closest Republican win in the country. CD8 is 40% Latino, and one in three households relies on Medicaid.
What happens here impacts health care, opportunity, and control of Congress. If Democrats lose here, we almost certainly lose the House. If we win, we put Congress back within reach.

Testimonials
Stories from the Field
I was so touched having these conversations. I feel really connected to the people I meet at the door.
Trudy
I had a conversation where the person went from never having voted to 'definitely voting' in the next election. It was incredible to see deep canvassing working in-action.
Nancy
Your training was thoughtful and so helpful. I feel prepared to deep canvass and better at listening to others.

Think about the last time you changed your mind about something important. Why did you do it? Did someone tell you to change your mind? Did it happen suddenly, or was it a slow burn?

Inside Colorado
I get asked all the time: “Jarrek, why are you canvassing so early?” Fair question. Our pilot canvasses began in July, and our first official canvass launched on October 11th… 2025. That’s more than a year before the general election. Most campaigns won’t start knocking doors until the last 90 days. Even fewer start before the primary (June 30th here in Colorado).

If I had it my way, we’d do away with the Electoral College, winner-take-all voting, and gerrymandering altogether. Unfortunately, I’m not King Jarrek (yet), so we have to face a political reality that’s as frustrating as it is simple: not all votes are weighted equally.
